We had a bit of a stage-managed ride-out, with the ceremonial ‘meeting of the packs’ of East coast and West coast riders. I’m not sure how well it looked on camera so we’ll have to wait and see!

Day 4: Renmark to Port Augusta

A quick little jaunt into Waikerie after yet another fuel stop before the day started – One of these days we may all get away on time! We had a quick photo session/interview with Kyla from the Murray Pioneer as our official news item for Renmark. Waikerie was our next destination for morning tea – the cherry ripe slice f [...]
Day 3: Hay to Renmark

This was one of the straightest pieces of road we travelled down – there were a few curves here & there and no change in altitude (i.e. no hills). But it was also the day that we met up with Steve Andrews and his Crew from Black Dog Ride, and a great night was had by all, as we all plan to ride togther tomorrow towards Alic [...]

A wonderful day of riding. The weather couldn’t have been better, and thankfully, the speeding exploits of one of the other riders will take the heat off me from my fall from yesterday (marginally). Await @AndrewBlanda‘s update later, in the meantime, here are some photos.

Day 1: Camperdown to Grenfell
Rideout to Leura for what had to have been the windiest and coldest fuel fill-up in history! We ended up with 27 bikes at Leura, after approx 35 riders departed the Deus Ex Machina Cafe. The one word to sum up the ride was WINDY! The ride was puncutated by a windy run across the mountains, with many rid [...]

Earlier this week, we caught up with Rosemarie and Katrina from Daily Telegraph, at Rushcutters Bay Park (just outside the Vibe Hotel). Rosemarie interviewed us about the ride, our reasons to join, and a bit of background (read all about it on the Daily Telegraph – I won’t spoil it here).
What we can show, are a few pics [...]
