Continuing our Men’s Sheds visits in 2011, on the 1st October 2011, the Riding4aCause crew will be visiting the Port Macquarie Men’s Shed. We’d like to have as many riders come with us on this journey and help spread the message that it’s OK for men to talk about the issues that matter, including depression. [...]

We attempted to get away from Mt Isa at 8am, and succeeded by 8:15am (recurring theme) The road out towards Cloncurry was much better than the straight roads into Mt Isa (much better scenery and the road is a little more challenging!) Day 8: A day of Rest
This was to be our ‘rest’ day, with many of us staying a second night in the Glen Helen Resort. Rideout
The ride-out was spectacular – we had a double-file formation ride out of Port Augusta and for the fi [...]

A quick little jaunt into Waikerie after yet another fuel stop before the day started – One of these days we may all get away on time! We had a quick photo session/interview with Kyla from the Murray Pioneer as our official news item for Renmark. Waikerie was our next destination for morning tea – the cherry ripe slice f [...]
Day 3: Hay to Renmark

ThisĀ was one of the straightest pieces of road we travelled down – there were a few curves here & there and no change in altitude (i.e. no hills). It was great to get this road out of the way in the early morning – otherwise, the road can be deadly if you did it in the afternoon when you really want to have a rest!
